Preface

The entirety of the Vedic philosophy is deeply rooted in the Vedanta (The Essence of vEdas). The Vedanta or the last part of the Veda is the part of the Veda that leads one to knowledge of the paramAtma and the way to reach Him. It is on this Vedanta that numerous works have been composed, some descriptive and some validating. However the majority of the works on the Vedanta are philosophical. In fact the Vedanta is regarded as the foremost of the Apaurusheya (non composed and eternal) texts that reveals the paramAtma. It conveys 5 important meanings:

1. The nature of paramAtma

2. The nature of the soul

3. The way to reach the Lord

4. The obstacles and

5. The final fruit on attaining the Lord. Read More >>
